As COVID-19 cases threaten capacity, children's hospitals resist taking adults: New guidelines from the Children's Hospital Association stopped short of recommending its 200 members accept adult patients if general acute-care hospitals become overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients. The group's CEO said doing so would be unsafe.
